The President of the United Statos appointed a
Wireless Board, composed of representatives of the Aray,
Navy and Civil doverment, which has made a genéral report
on the whole wirelgas aitustion in the Islanda. This board
recommends the installation of a high power station ba
Jatan Island and another station at Bagulo, na rzeczcionded
by the Weather Muroau. The total cost of the project
recom.onded by this Board ranghen the mes of Posca 1,100,
000 (One million one hundred thougand Pasos). Thin
Goverment has been able to onko aynilable only Pasoa
87,909.94 for carrying out the purpose of this board. The
various stations should be installed in the order of their
importance to the Philippino Covermant, and at the present
rate at which the money is likely to be available, it will
be some time before the construction of the station on
Fatan Island is roached.
